Expert Marketing Manager

Job Purpose:
To define, deliver and deploy Expert marketing
strategies and activities to deliver growth, profit and marketing objectives
for relevant GSK Consumer Healthcare Brands in Pakistan.
Responsible to enhance and accelerate business
growth of all brands through supporting local market execution by taking
ownership, management and delivery of category and brand strategies through
Expert touch points. The role entails working across multiple categories and
brands, as well as various HCP audiences to deliver performance through sound
strategic thinking, excellence in execution and partnership with local brand
activation managers and detailing team.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for creating Expert
Marketing materials and content that improves key performance measures of
our brands recommendation levels and Brand Recommended Most Often to drive
the credibility and sales of our brands
- Collaborate with Area Expert
Marketing/Brand Activation Manager(s) to ensure strategic alignment,
provide input into content and materials, and ensure flawless local
execution and localization of centrally created expert materials
- Develop an innovative local
tactical plan based on aligned brand(s) expert strategy and a deep
understanding of local insights
- Deliver expert marketing
materials and activities based on local insights for all touch points
(advertorials, CLM content, detailing material, leave behinds, training
material, digital press releases, PR, symposia, etc.) of both detailing
and non-detailing implementation
- Responsible for planning,
designing, distribution & reconciliation of all expert promotional and
activation related material
- Collaborate with both internal
and external stakeholders e.g. Brand Marketing, Medical, Compliance,
Legal, ComEx, Sales, agencies etc. to deliver plan, shape the healthcare
environment to endorse GSK brands to HCPs and eventually to consumers and
comply with the local regulations and GSK SOPs (custodian)
- Effectively manage Expert
Marketing A&P spend
- 20% time to be spent in the
field analyzing market, competition, trends and create expert strategy
with locally relevant insights
- Lead HCO/HCP documentation,
TPOs, due diligence required to be fulfilled
- Collaborate with Digital Call
Centre team to create locally relevant expert content that improves
measures of our brands, manage their performance, sampling, KPIs &
storyline
- Any formulation/medical queries
from the HCPs to be diverted through the Expert Marketing Manager
- Guide LOCs on detailing
priorities as per brands strategy
- Identify investment priorities
within the Expert Priority Channels based on robust measurements and ROI
- Provide expert input into
winning Market Activation Plans (MAPs) in the context of the expert
environment in partnership with the Pakistan Brand Activation
Managers
- Analyse the impact of expert
activity on the P&L and develop alternative plans where appropriate
- Develop and manage the Expert
Portal for LOC Pakistan
- Understands and abides by GSK
policies and procedures, conducts Management Monitoring.
- Uses GSK’s values and
expectations to drive actions and decisions.
- Bachelor’s degree or above in pharmacy, marketing, economics, commercial, business or equivalent
- 2-3 years of marketing experience
- Passion for brand management and brand building
- Goal oriented & result driven
- Innovative thinking and to drive fact-based decision making.
- Strong communication, presentation and negotiating skills
- Knowledge and experience of the pharma sales or marketing, HCP engagement, dealing with agencies and A&P spend
- Proven track record of brand management in leading Pharma or consumer health care company
